March 28-April 4, 2010 begins the “Week of Witness” across The Wesleyan Church.” As part of the SpringLife emphasis focusing on evangelism and discipleship – the “Week of Witness” has two specific goals:
This is our opportunity to help everyone around us to realize that Jesus lives! This is our time to share the hope of Christ with our family, friends and co-workers. This is the week for the world to understand what Easter is all about.
We have prayed for many to accept Christ as their personal Savior during the Week of Witness. We are expecting Easter Weekend to be a special celebration of the transformation of eternal life that only Jesus can make happen. Listen for the opportunities to share your faith. Engage in purposeful conversations about what Jesus means to you personally. Invite everyone you interact with to Easter in anticipation that the Good News of Jesus will be the focus of the entire weekend. Expect that many new believers will be intentionally discipled to and baptized throughout April and May through the ministry of the local church.

5.19.08 - Company Prayer
A lady in our church emailed us this after attending a Prayer class. “I am going to step out of the comfort zone to ask our top supervisor of the company if I may use a room after work on Tuesdays for 10-15 minutes to allow Christians in the company to pray for the company. Please petition Him to bring workers willing to pray for the company and for a prayer revival to start. Please ask God to work on my supervisor’s heart to allow us to have a room to pray and to shield us from the evil one who may cause trouble. I do not know if my supervisor is Christian or not, but I am still willing to step out to ask him for a room only through God’s power.”
